Is Paying Extra For Bottled Water Delivery Worth the Convenience Over Getting it From the Store

When you have a bottled water dispenser you have to deal with getting that water into the house. In many cases people will opt for the convenience of having the water delivered. But there is also the option of going to the store on your own and getting the water yourself. While you may be able to save some money by carrying the water yourself, you may be losing out on time and effort.

More stores are making it easier for people to get filtered water or even water purified through reverse osmosis while grocery shopping. They have stations set up where you can fill your own jugs for much less than buying pre-filled containers. In most cases you will be able to buy the jugs there as well or pay a deposit the container. Then when you return with the empty jug you just exchange it for a clean, sterilized one and fill it.

The money is save by you doing the labor. You have to fill the jugs yourself. They typically come in one and five gallon sizes, so if you’re filling a five gallon jug you need to be strong enough to lug it around with you. Not only do you have to get it to the checkout, but then you get it to your car. And once you get home you carry it from the car to your home. It gets even more difficult if you have several containers to deal with.

The convenience you pay for with delivered water is that someone else does the filling and delivery to your home. All you need to do at that point is find a place to store both the full and empty jugs. It may cost a little more, but you get to spend your time on more important things and save a trip to the chiropractor for your back.

You can continue here to find the right bottled water dispenser. Have you seen the latest in what’s available for a stainless steel water cooler?
